On December 9th, 2025, the Wyoming State Capitol Rotunda hosted the 5th Annual Nativity Blessing, a beautiful event honoring law enforcement officers. I felt truly humbled to be invited to take part in such a meaningful program.
The ceremony brought together state and local leaders, including Governor Mark Gordon, Secretary of State Chuck Gray, Pastor Nathan Winters, and Father Lee Noel. Each of them shared thoughtful and uplifting remarks. I joined Sheriff Brian Kozak, Chief Mark Francisco, and members of their departments as a reader, sharing a reading that reminded us of the dedication and service these individuals provide our communities every day.
Talented performers from the Cathedral of St. Mary, including Patrick Stolz, Samantha Rogaczewski, and the Cathedral Adult Choir, filled the rotunda with music, warmth, and reverence.
I want to thank Coordinator Steven M. Melia for organizing this wonderful tradition. It was an honor to stand with so many leaders, officers, and community members to celebrate the season and support those who protect and serve.
I am grateful for the experience and the sense of unity it created.
