What a fulfilling day of canvassing! I had the privilege of speaking with numerous community members on a wide range of topics, from groundwater concerns to nuisance complaint issues regarding unsightly properties out in the county. One lady was so interested in the doorhanger I left at her home that she chased me down the street to ask questions. Utilizing my extensive law enforcement background and the knowledge gained through positive working relationships with various county agencies over my 27-year career, as well as my research on groundwater levels, I was able to provide satisfactory answers. I am grateful for the opportunity to engage with the community and for their positive response, which further fuels my dedication and commitment to this work.
