I participated in an interview on KGAB yesterday with Doug Randall. One of the listeners, texted us with a very nice comment. One of the things she said was:
"What needed to be pointed out is that it should not matter what a commissioner's personal opinion is on various issues but rather the ability of the commissioner to be objective about the issues the public and gov't departments bring forward. In that sense is where your skills to describe and articulate points needing to be considered are extremely good. All comments and concerns should be seriously considered, and no doubt you have the skill to do that, too -- despite any personal preferences."
I have in my past positions and will in the future, if elected, be very cognizant of the issues and work on keeping my personal opinion out if it. I will do as thorough of research as I can when considering projects, etc.
