Cheyenne Frontier Days™ (CFD) kicked off this afternoon with the annual Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Partners in Prosperity Luncheon. The event, held at the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center, was a significant gathering attended by state and local elected officials, underscoring the importance of the occasion. Tyrrell Auto Centers presented this year's event.
Several speakers at the event, including Cynthia Lummis, John Barrasso, Governor Mark Gordon, and several other dignitaries, spoke on various topics. These included the Cheyenne community's over 3000 volunteers, the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days, and how Cheyenne triples in size during these ten days as visitors worldwide travel to experience CFD. They also discussed the economic impact of CFD on the local community and the efforts being made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
The event was informative and an excellent opportunity to engage in dynamic conversations with several people.
This year marks the 128th Daddy of 'Em All, a significant milestone in the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days. It's also the Year of the Cowgirl, a celebration of the contributions and achievements of women in the western way of life. Let the fun begin as we honor these important themes in this year's event.
