Primary Election Congratulations

Congratulations to everyone who won their races yesterday. Now on to the General Election. I wish you the best.

I also want to thank everyone willing to put their name on the ballot. Running for office isn’t easy, and win or lose, I have a lot of respect for anyone willing to step up and do it. It takes time and commitment from the candidate, but it also takes a lot from their family and friends. Thank you for being willing to serve.

Elections can get pretty spirited, and we aren’t always going to agree on candidates or issues. That’s part of the process. Once the General Election votes are counted, though, it’s time to put the campaigns behind us, come together, and focus on the work ahead.

And finally, thank you to everyone who voted—taking the time to cast your ballot and be involved in your government matters.
