I am taking a few days off the campaign trail to spend quality time with my granddaughter, one of my biggest supporters. Haley and I are attending the YGB Livestock Camp at the Archer Complex. The two-day camp teaches the kids how to show their goats/sheep. Haley will show her goats at the Laramie County Fair and maybe some other fairs. Haley chose goats as her FFA project, and our whole family has been learning how to care for and raise goats together. What a wonderful experience it has been so far. Haley told me last night that I am a “Goat Grampa” as we bathed the goats in the backyard. I think I got more water on me than the goats did, but it was a great time.
