Laramie County GOP Red State Rendezvous

Sue and I had a great time at the Laramie County GOP Red State Rendezvous last night. It was a wonderful evening of good food, conversation, and catching up with friends. They even collected nonperishable food items for a local food pantry.
The theme was “United We Stand,” and Nathan Winters of the Wyoming Family Alliance and Glenn Woods of Wake Up Wyoming shared thoughtful messages about what it means to come together as a party. They also said several times last night, “Get out and vote!” We need Republicans to get to the polls by November 3, 2026, and vote red. If you want to help our party or increase voter turnout, consider volunteering for phone banks, helping with neighborhood canvassing, or offering rides to the polls on Election Day. Every bit of help matters and brings us closer together.

We may have different opinions about candidates, policies, and how best to get things done, but we also share many of the same values and goals. Those differences don’t have to divide us. We can stand firm in our beliefs, respect one another’s perspectives, and still find common ground.
I believe we accomplish far more when we focus on what brings us together rather than what pulls us apart. That doesn’t mean we have to agree on everything. It means remembering what we’re working toward and recognizing that we’re stronger when we work together.
A special thank-you to everyone who organized the evening and to LCCC for the excellent meal!
United we stand.
