Cheyenne Frontier Days Parades

For Tuesday and Thursday parades, I switched from the carriage we rode in on Saturday’s parade to a proud four-legged steed. I had a different one each day.
These horses were exceptionally well trained and responsive to even the slightest direction from their reins.
It was like a childhood dream come true, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Although I enjoyed riding on floats and carriages over the years as I participated in the CFD parades, waiving to the crowd from horseback was an experience I will never forget.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the parade organizers and the owners of these magnificent animals for making my childhood dreams a reality. Riding horseback in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Parade is an experience like no other. I can't wait to see you all at the final parade on Saturday!
