It was another unforgettable day at the CFD rodeo. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly Military Monday, a day set aside to pay tribute to our armed services. The pre-rodeo events were a spectacle, with the Leap Frog military parachute team executing a precision jump into the arena, and the subsequent unfurling of a massive American flag that fluttered proudly in the breeze.
Words cannot describe my emotions as I watched this symbol of our great nation fluttering in the breeze, at the hands of the many volunteers who kept it respectfully off the ground.
The action was intense and competitive as the cowboys and cowgirls pitted their skills against the rough stock, each one trying to outmaneuver and outmatch their human counterparts in the “Daddy of ‘em All”.
