Laramie County clerk posts sample primary election ballots

Wyoming Tribune Eagle Newspaper Article July 6, 2024

Wyoming’s primary election is Aug. 20, and early and absentee voting starts July 23. Primary election sample ballots for Laramie County voters are now available online and in the County Clerk’s election office, located in the Laramie County Governmental Complex, 309 W. 20th St., Suite 1500.

Voters can access their sample ballot by visiting laramiecountywy.gov.

County Clerk Debra Lee said in a news release there are three types of ballots for the primary election — Democratic, Republican and nonpartisan. Voters will receive the ballot matching the party they selected when registering to vote. Those registered as unaffiliated or with a minor party will receive a nonpartisan ballot for municipal elections only if they live within the city limits of Cheyenne or Pine Bluffs.

Names of candidates on official ballots are rotated and will not always appear in the order indicated on the sample ballots.
