For the last several days, we have been attending the Laramie County Fair. We have mainly been talking to a lot of community members and supporting our granddaughter, who has two goats at the Fair.
This is her first year raising goats and showing them at the Fair, and she has done an excellent job. She ended up getting four ribbons. She placed 5th with her female (doe) goat, Wrenley, and 5th and 3rd with her male (wether) goat, Dobby. She also entered an informational board about the goats and placed third. Wow, she did great for the first time doing this.
I highly recommend it if you have never been to the county fair. Most of the activities are free, and who cannot smile when the young kids show their animals or when the alpacas are dressed in costumes? What a great time for your family.
Now, she is off to the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas. If you see us, stop by and say hi.
Thank you Laramie County Fair committee and all the attendees. I applaud all of you for your hard work.
