The 2024 Laramie County GOP (LCGOP) Convention was a testament to the active participation of nearly 200 Laramie County Republican Precinct committee men, women, and alternates. Held on Saturday, March 9, at Little America, the day was filled with lively discussions and debates on changes to the LCGOP bylaws, which aligned them with the state bylaws. Representatives for the Wyoming Republican State and National Convention were also selected.
It was truly inspiring to witness the passion and engagement of the attendees as they voiced their opinions on various items, from resolutions to the party platform regarding allowing only Wyoming state and United States flags to be flown on state property to a spirited debate on a platform resolution regarding the return to paper ballots for all Wyoming elections to guard against voter fraud, showing their commitment to the democratic process.
As we look forward to this year's Republican State Convention, which will be hosted in Cheyenne at Little America from April 17 to 21, I am deeply honored to have been selected as one of the delegates representing the LCGOP at this prestigious event. This opportunity is a testament to our party's trust and confidence in each of us, and I am genuinely grateful for it.
Congratulations to Dallas Tyrrell, who was selected to represent Laramie County at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 15-18. Don Odom was selected as the alternate.
Great job to all who attended!
