Boys & Girls Club Chili Cook-Off was a Success!

Every January, I look forward to the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming Chili Cook-Off—a true winter tradition! This year’s event, held on January 16th at the Archer Events Center, was a chance to escape the cold, share a meal, and support local kids and families.

Thanks to donors, volunteers, and attendees, we raised over $6,000 for the Club! I was proud to join my fellow County Commissioners, and while our County team won the People’s Choice Award, the real winners are the kids and families who benefit from the Club.

Councilman Ken Esquibel’s green chili was incredible, and the friendly rivalry made it even more fun. Events like this remind me how strong our community is when we come together for our youth.
