Burns Day 2025 Was A Hit

Saturday, June 7, our daughter and one of our granddaughters joined my wife and me while we attended the Burns Day Parade and vendor show.
The parade, which lasted approximately an hour, was a vibrant display of our community's diversity. It featured horses, vintage cars, and floats representing various businesses, as well as law enforcement and emergency response vehicles.
Several food trucks were on site to help feed the crowd. We had lunch at Josie's Creamery, and it was great! The ice cream was the best. We even brought home a couple of pints of strawberry rhubarb ice cream. I'm eager to try it.
The most heartwarming part of the day was witnessing the strong community spirit. The streets were filled with people; all coming together to support their town and enjoy the morning.
If you haven't had a chance to attend a Burns Day celebration, I recommend marking your calendar for next year's event, which usually falls on the first Saturday of June. We're already looking forward to it and can't wait to experience it again!
