This year's Cheyenne Frontier Chapter FFA Banquet, a grand event celebrating the achievements of our local agricultural kids, was held at the Archer Events Center.
Our granddaughter Haley, a member of this chapter, and her family have attended several of these events over the years, and I am always impressed by how professionally the event is conducted. Members of the chapter give detailed speeches on the FFA chapter's various functions, inner workings, and history. You could tell the kids put as much effort into this event as they do caring for their livestock and other agricultural activities.
The banquet celebrated not just their agricultural achievements but also the academic accomplishments of a significant number of the chapter's kids, with GPAs ranging from 3.5 to 4.0. This is a testament to their dedication and ambition in achieving their future goals. The evening also paid tribute to the teachers, parents, and volunteers who guide and support these young individuals.
The Cheyenne Frontier FFA Chapter is just one of many local FFA groups in our community. Each comprises hardworking, dedicated individuals who strive to make a difference. The various FFA programs teach them leadership, dependability, work ethic, and other positive attributes that will serve them well in their future endeavors.
One more thing, and I have to shout out to Uncle Fred's Catering, which supplied the meal for the banquet. We are truly grateful for their delicious and satisfying meal, which added to the success of the evening. You can always count on Fred to serve a fantastic meal.
