Attending the HealthWorks ribbon-cutting was a meaningful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together. I felt real pride seeing an organization that has long cared for our neighbors continue to grow and strengthen its impact.
As a county commissioner, it’s especially meaningful to witness investments that truly meet people where they are. HealthWorks’ new downtown location triples its space. It expands their ability to serve patients across medical, behavioral health, pharmacy, and future dental services — all in a location that’s easier for many to reach.
This is about more than a new building; it’s about dignity, trust, and showing up for our neighbors when they need it most. Congratulations to the HealthWorks team and all who made this milestone possible.
