Generally, on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, the Laramie County GOP holds its monthly meeting at the LCCC Pathfinder building. These meetings are open to the public, and I encourage everyone to attend. During the sessions, information is presented on upcoming events, important issues, voting on various agenda items and topics, and data regarding voter registration within Laramie County. After the last meeting, I was surprised when I heard how many registered Republican Party voters were purged from the County Voter registration rolls after the 2022 general election.
During the 2022 general election, almost 10,000 registered Republicans did not cast their vote, resulting in each individual being removed from voter rolls by the County Clerk's office per state statute. They will need to re-register to be eligible to vote in the next election. This number accounted for almost one-third of all registered Republican voters in Laramie County. With the upcoming Presidential election in play this year and several important local races, it is more crucial than ever for each citizen of Laramie County to get out and vote! Cast your vote on election day to steer this community and this nation in a direction that secures a positive future.
