Laramie County Clerk of District Court Dian Sanchez's office handles a wide range of First Judicial District Court duties. 

The responsibilities include maintaining records for all District Court cases dating back to 1890, processing court-ordered payments such as criminal fines, bonds, and restitution, and setting up and monitoring jury trials.

Their cases span a wide range of legal matters, including Civil cases over 50,000, Criminal Felonies, Juvenile Crimes and neglect, CHINS (child in need of supervision), paternity, and child support enforcement cases.

This is a snip of all they do, but it's a decent snapshot. They are the unsung heroes of the felony criminal justice system. Dian and her staff see our community members at some of their most vulnerable and tragic moments and treat them with dignity and respect.
