On the evening of February 12, I attended the Laramie County Legislative Reception at the Wyoming County Commissioners Association headquarters in Cheyenne. It’s always valuable to meet face-to-face with our state representatives and have an honest conversation about the bills under consideration this session.
We discussed the positions the WCCA has taken—whether we support or oppose certain legislation—and shared our views directly with those making decisions that affect our county. I really appreciate this kind of setting, where conversations can be relaxed and thoughtful, without the usual rush of the legislative session.
Events like this remind me how important it is to stay connected with our community and our representatives. Listening, sharing, and working together are how we ensure Laramie County’s voice is heard.
