On October 14th, Cheyenne celebrated the grand opening of its newest affordable housing community, Robin’s Point Apartments. Located at 3300 E. Nationway, the complex offers 48 thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom apartments, providing much-needed housing options for individuals and families with low to moderate incomes.
The development of Robin’s Point is a shining example of what can be accomplished when communities unite to address critical needs. Cheyenne, like many cities, faces a growing demand for affordable housing—and this project represents a significant step forward in meeting that challenge.
Robin’s Point was made possible through a collaborative effort between the Wyoming Housing Network, the Wyoming Community Development Authority, and CR Builders, a Montana-based company with a strong track record of developing quality, affordable housing across multiple states.
The grand opening event was well attended, with Governor Mark Gordon, Mayor Patrick Collins, several City Council members, and representatives from various community outreach organizations present to show their support. Guests were invited to tour a model apartment and the on-site community clubhouse, both of which were open to the public for the occasion.
Rental costs for the units are based on a resident’s annual income, ensuring that the apartments remain accessible to those who need them most.
Robin’s Point stands as a welcoming new addition to Cheyenne and a testament to the power of partnership in building stronger, more inclusive communities.
